In January 2018, we will be hosting a local chapter meeting of the KSS Improvers Network.
The Improvers Network was created by the KSS Academic Health Science Network (KSS AHSN) and is made up of over 250 members from across the whole health economy who are leading, or have an interest in, Quality Improvement (QI). The network is an inclusive and collaborative community, open for anyone interested in QI.
The Improvers Network Local Chapters provide an opportunity for members of the Network and other interested parties to come together in person and reflect, share experiences and gain momentum on tackling some common QI challenges.
We know that leading and participating in QI within a single organisation can come with lots of challenges and frustrations and it can be a lonely role. We are hosting a Local Chapter meeting to bring like-minded people together and give them time and space to think, share ideas around some specific topics and we hope you will join us.
The Improvers Network, and our local chapter meeting, are supported by Q and we share their aspirations to connect as an improvement community, to share ideas, enhance skills and collaborate to make health and care better.
As proud members of Q and the KSS Improvers Network we are hosting a Local Chapter Meeting in January 2018, and we will be share experiences and ideas on the themes below:
1 – ‘Building the will for quality improvement’ – Overcoming the resistance to organic improvement
2 – ‘Crossing the divide’ – Making improvements across organisational-boundaries
We really want the session to be a safe space to share experiences and ideas with others. We don’t have the answers to all the challenges, instead we want to openly discuss our experiences, share learning and ideas.
If you would like to attend and participate in the session then please do get in touch and come along. No experience is needed and refreshments will be provided!
When: Friday, 26 January 2018 – 9:30am to 12:00pm
